Samantha Markowitz-Wright joined MWCC in 2022 after working at the Multnomah County District Attorney’s office for 20 years.

As a legal assistant in the District Attorney's child abuse prosecution unit for a decade, Ms. Markowitz-Wright was responsible for working closely with prosecutors, investigators, law enforcement, and agency partners. She was instrumental in supporting the families and witnesses associated with these delicate cases. She has carried that same drive to MWCC where she wears many hats including firm administrator, legal assistant, and self-appointed chief morale officer.

Ms. Markowitz-Wright earned her B.A. in Sociology from Oregon State University where she was the winner of the Academic Excellence in Sociology Award.

Ms. Markowitz-Wright is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators where she is the current DEIA committee director for the Oregon chapter. She also serves on the board of St. Andrew Legal Clinic, a local non-profit organization that provides low-cost legal services to low-income families since 1979, and is a member of the Oregon Minority Lawyers Association.

In her spare time, Ms. Markowtiz-Wright enjoys volunteering in her community and tending to her backyard garden.
